Service Description
An engaging introduction to fine art for young artists who are ready to build real skills. Students will explore the elements of art, color theory, and a variety of materials and techniques, giving them a strong foundation for their continued growth as artists. Each class combines a short lesson or demonstration with hands-on making. Students will draw, paint, print, design, and experiment with different media while discovering how artists use color, line, shape, texture, composition, and other design choices to develop ideas and create artwork. Through hands-on practice and experimentation, students will gain the skills and confidence to turn their ideas into art. Art Foundations is a great starting point for students who are interested in art and ready to learn more, but aren’t quite ready for the longer commitment of Junior Studio. All materials are provided. Ages: 7–10

Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited size of our classes and the preparation involved, all registrations are final. We are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or credits once a spot has been reserved. If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another student. Please contact the studio in advance to let us know who will be taking your place. Hive Studio may cancel or reschedule a class if minimum enrollment is not met. You will be notified at least 48 hours in advance and offered the choice of a refund or credit. Only enrolled students may attend. Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate guests or visitors during class. Refunds or credits are not provided for missed classes or no-shows. If Hive Studio cancels a class, a make-up session will be offered. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, a class credit will be issued. To ensure a positive experience for all, students are expected to treat instructors, peers, and studio property with respect. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal without a refund. By attending, participants (and parents/guardians of minors) consent to Hive Studio’s use of photos or videos taken during the session for promotional or other purposes.
