Service Description
For serious young artists ready to take their drawing skills to the next level, this four-session course provides a strong foundation in drawing techniques and observational skills. With a focus on graphite, students will explore the essential elements of art—line, shape, form, value, and composition—through structured exercises and hands-on practice. Rather than focusing on finished pieces, this class emphasizes skill-building, helping students develop confidence in shading, perspective, proportion, and mark-making. Each session balances direct instruction, guided practice, and group discussions, encouraging students to refine their technique and artistic eye. Perfect for students with a strong attention span and a passion for improving their drawing skills, this class provides the tools they need to create more dynamic, realistic artwork. All materials are provided. *Please note, no class will be held on May 8th. A make-up session is scheduled for May 22nd.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited size of our classes and the preparation involved, all registrations are final. We are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or credits once a spot has been reserved. If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another student. Please contact the studio in advance to let us know who will be taking your place. Hive Studio may cancel or reschedule a class if minimum enrollment is not met. You will be notified at least 48 hours in advance and offered the choice of a refund or credit. Only enrolled students may attend. Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate guests or visitors during class. Refunds or credits are not provided for missed classes or no-shows. If Hive Studio cancels a class, a make-up session will be offered. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, a class credit will be issued. To ensure a positive experience for all, students are expected to treat instructors, peers, and studio property with respect. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal without a refund. By attending, participants (and parents/guardians of minors) consent to Hive Studio’s use of photos or videos taken during the session for promotional or other purposes.
