Service Description
A creative, skill-building art class for young artists who are excited to try new materials and techniques and take their art to the next level! Students will explore the elements of art, principles of design, and artists and movements throughout art history, applying what they learn to their own work. Each class begins with a short lesson and demonstration to introduce a new concept, artist, material, or technique. They then use that inspiration to develop their own artwork, with guidance, feedback, and technical support from the instructor. Throughout the course, students will work with drawing, painting, printmaking, and other media, learning how artists use materials and design choices to communicate ideas. As their skills and confidence grow, they’ll have more opportunities to choose the direction of their projects and determine which materials and techniques will best bring their ideas to life. Junior Studio is ideal for kids who love art and are ready for more independence while still benefiting from regular instruction and support. The goal is to build strong artistic skills, creative confidence, and the ability to think like an artist. All materials are provided. Ages: 8–12 The age range is set to support the structure and expectations of the class, but exceptions may be considered with teacher approval.

Cancellation Policy
Registration & Payment All registrations are final. Once a spot has been reserved, we are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or credits. Students enrolled in pay-per-month classes are committing to the full course and are responsible for completing all remaining payments, even if they are unable to attend. By registering, you agree to these terms and commit to payment in full. Transfers If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another student. Please contact the studio in advance with the name of the student taking your place. Class Changes & Cancellations Hive Studio may cancel or reschedule a class if minimum enrollment is not met. Families will be notified at least 48 hours in advance and offered the choice of a refund or credit. Drop-Off Policy Only enrolled students may attend class. Classes are designed as drop-off experiences. If your child requires a parent or caregiver to remain onsite for a special circumstance, please contact the studio in advance. Student Conduct To ensure a positive experience for everyone, students are expected to treat instructors, classmates, and studio property with respect. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal from the program without a refund. Photo & Video Consent By attending Hive Studio, participants—and parents or guardians of minors—consent to photographs and videos taken during classes or events being used by Hive Studio for promotional and other studio-related purposes.
